Waterford 2011 Holiday Catalog and HDSA/Woody Guthrie Foundation Poster featured in Graphic Design USA
In 2011, Rizco Design developed the Waterford 2011Holiday Catalog, which features the new “Snowflake Wishes Collection”. A delightful 10-year series of distinctive holiday ornaments, champagne flutes, barware and giftware.
Rizco also designed the HDSA and The Woody Guthrie Foundation Poster. The highlight of the project was having the opportunity to visit the Woody Guthrie Foundation and delve into the historical records that include his art, music and books that became the inspiration for the visuals for the upcoming concert poster. The poster was screen printed on craft paper to create an organic, gritty and raw look and feel to establish the visual voice of the concert.
The holiday catalog and poster were featured on the pages of GD USA’s November/December “American Graphic Design Awards” edition. Rizco Design would like to extend their thanks to Waterford Crystal, HDSA, and The Woody Guthrie Foundation as we celebrate these awards with them.
